“Last month I saw your In Thyme Catering truck on the road and decided to call and inquire about catering my husband’s 50th birthday party. Well, that was the smartest call that I made because once I spoke with Julie Sasso, my mind was immediately put at ease. Julie was attentive and friendly over the phone and really took the time to find out what I was looking for. We discussed food choices, beverages and layout of the party. She took the time to come to my house and go over how the food and all the logistics of furniture layout and timing of the party would work. She continued to make herself available over the phone and through email up until the party. All of her suggestions were on point and she was just a pleasure to work with.
Since this was a surprise party, I needed to take my husband out of the house so the party could be set up. My grown up children were here to hold down the fort and be with In Thyme. Your staff Jason Burns — Head Chef, Fernando Sanders — Chef Assistant, Frank Murphy — Lead Server, Kathy O’Neil, and Alejandro Jimenez were all excellent and worked very hard to make the party run seamlessly. My daughter, Rebecca was so impressed with Frank. He assured her that he was going to take care of everything…and he did. Once the folding tables and chairs were moved in place all my kids needed to do was get dressed and wait for guests to arrive. It was a pleasure. During the party, Frank was attentive and kind to my mother in-law and my parents. Always checking to see if they needed anything else to eat or another drink. When my good friend asked about gluten in the food, Frank took the time to speak with her and even made her a plate of things she would enjoy. Frank went above and beyond. Kathy was courteous and friendly as well.
The staff behind the scenes in my garage were hard at work preparing the most delicious food. Everything was prepared and presented in the most professional way. The food was high quality. Everything was served hot and in the most beautiful way. My guests and my husband and I were so impressed and everyone raved about the food and presentation. The chef staff were top notch.
As the party began to wind down and clean up began, Frank and Kathy made sure that the folding tables and chairs were neatly placed in the garage, counters and tables were wiped clean and whatever was left over was wrapped up and put in my refrigerator. They all worked very hard to make this party very special.

“My now husband and I know that what makes the wedding is the food, and from the start the style of the food and the uniqueness of the food was our top priority. In Thyme catering was recommended to us by our venue, and we are beyond pleased with the results. Not only was In Thyme receptive and understanding of our wants, but they were so creative with not only the food choices but the presentation. They seemed to know us better than we knew ourselves, and from the outstanding deconstructed BLT to the passed desserts towards the end of the evening, in which I received the text message: “Your passed desserts are the best idea ever…” while partying away on the dance floor, the food had everyone clamoring for more. While the food was delicious and bountiful, In Thyme continued to take care of us by making sure there was always food at our reserved table. And when they thought we hadn’t had enough, the put together to-go containers of all that remained, a fantastic idea when the party goes so late into the evening. If I were to do this all over again, the only thing I would do differently would be sit down at my table, put up a sign that said “Do not disturb” and indulge in the deliciousness that In Thyme served at our wedding.”
